When we have achieved this vision, people will be untroubled by poverty, burdens of debt, or anxiety, stress, depression & relationship problems associated with paying bills and financial problems. The dream is to see people with adequate storehouses and abundant resources, so that they can focus on doing all that God has called them to do and enjoy all that God has called them to be. Message Psalm 112:3 encapsulates the message of "righteousness and riches". This scripture provides a picture to show us a glimpse of God's idea of divine financial health: "Wealth and riches will be in his house, and his righteousness endures forever". "Mint" is mentioned in the bible only twice. Both times it is a recording of just one conversation concerning mint. The conversation was between Jesus and the Pharisees concerning tithes. One of the points that Jesus was making was that people were focusing on tiny issues like mint and neglecting weightier issues. MoneyHealer.com purposes to keep the weightier issues (like righteousness) in focus in any discussion of money and riches. Like all financial topics, because tithing is the subject of such a wide range of views, we prefer to focus on what the Scripture, in particular Jesus, has to say about it - we consider God's word to be a true guide to the most important issues - that's why we chose the mint. Mint is also a word used to describe a whole family of plants. These organic species cover a wide range of diversity and are grown for their oil, aroma, flavours, flowers and healing powers. Today, mint is most widely used as a sweet (candy) confectionary. Historically, mint was so valueable it was used as a currency and traded as both a condiment and medicine. We want to create an organically growing community with a wide diversity, defined by our sweet spirit and united by our usefulness and value to others. In addition, mint is a place where money is created under the authority of a country's government. It is often used to describe an abundant amount of something, especially money. For example "it must have cost a mint!". Websters dictionary defines a mint as "any place regarded as a source of unlimited supply". This is definitely in line with the biblical concepts MoneyHealer.com is commited to preach such as "life and life abundantly" that Jesus spoke of. The word mint also denotes invention and innovation, and at MoneyHealer.com we want to look at the subject of money with a refreshing or "minty" outlook. Lastly, mint also is used to describe things that are of excellence, and true to their original design, such as "in mint condition". Our purpose at MoneyHealer.com is to restore people to the divine financial health that God always intended, through our commitment to God and our values to excel and enjoy. History In 2002, during a period of prolonged physical problems, Sharon Hague pondered her purpose in life. She spent time seeking God to discover what her unique assignment in life was. As a qualified accountant, Sharon had always been around the world of finance. But it was while she was battling her physical diseases and seeking God about healing that she started seeing how God's healing power in the bible was not only reserved for physical healing of people - but also other physical resources like the land, water, crops etc. She saw how God wants his people physically well, but also that divine health included divine financial health. As she recovered physical health, she felt a calling from God to take the message of divine financial health to the world. MoneyHealer.com was born shortly after this time in the winter of 2002.
